There are a number of changes the Internal Revenue Service will implement in 2018 as a result of new regulations. The most significant being the Tax Cuts & jobsAct, which is the largest federal tax overhaul in 31 years. This tax act amends and repeals portions of the Internal Revenue Code to reduce tax rates and modify policies, credits and deductions for businesses and individuals. In addition, many provisions of the bill are complex and will require guidance from Congress or the IRS for clarification on the impact to 2018 taxes.
